Terms of Use Agreement

Effective July 15, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Boards (boards.applebiter.com), a discussion forum operated as a companion to applebiter.com ("we," "us," or "the site"). By creating an account or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the site to:

  • Bully, harass, threaten, or abuse any other person;
  • Post content that is unlawful, or that facilitates, encourages, or describes criminal activity;
  • Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, boards, or systems that are not your own;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site's normal operation, or attempt to circumvent any rate limit, lockout, moderation action, or other measure put in place to prevent abuse; or
  • Evade a suspension or ban by creating a new account or using another means to continue behavior that led to enforcement action.

3. Moderation and Enforcement

The site owner and moderators reserve all rights to remove content, hide or lock threads, and to warn, suspend, or permanently block any user who violates these Terms, engages in abusive or disruptive behavior, or attempts to circumvent measures put in place to prevent such behavior. Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion, and we are not obligated to provide advance notice or a detailed explanation before taking action.

For accountability, edited messages are retained as a visible revision history by default. Moderators may hide individual revisions that contain content that should no longer be publicly displayed, without deleting the underlying record.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content as part of operating the site, including retaining revision history as described above. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

5. Account Termination

You may stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the site, its users, or third parties.

6. Law Enforcement Requests

We will comply with lawful requests from law enforcement or other government authorities to disclose administrative records we hold, as required by applicable law.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for content posted by users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any damages arising from your use of the site.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
